Krebs viscometer (automatic stroma viscometer)
This is a digital viscometer used to measure the viscosity of non-Newtonian liquids such as paints, inks, adhesives, coating agents, and pastes.
The large touchscreen display shows KU (Krebs units), g (grams), cP (centipoise), temperature, and real-time viscosity curve in a single measurement. Measurements can be taken while checking the sample temperature with the included temperature probe. The temperature is fixed at the moment the rotor starts to rotate. The touch panel allows for settings such as measurement start time, measurement duration, and rotor ascent and descent speed. At the end of the measurement, the rotor automatically ascends and descends. The sample can holder is magnetic, so the test can is secured during measurement. The main unit is equipped with a memory function, which can be checked on the display screen. The rotor speed is 200 rpm. Measurement range: 40–140 KU, 27–5274 cP, 32–1099 g. Accuracy: ±1% of full scale. Repeatability: ±0.5% of full scale.
